Greetings and welcome to Studio Janak!

I’ve been in the architectural interiors profession for a long time – working on a wide range of project types, encountering many different challenges.  If you’ve been “shopping” architectural firm web sites, you’ve likely noticed they consist of all the basics – portfolio, project types, and a lot of verbiage on mission statements, commitments, focus, etc.

Well, this site is going to be a bit different by nature of my blog.  Sure, I’ll give you all the basic info on portfolio examples, project experience, and education so you will know that I’m a qualified professional, but what I’m also very interested in is giving you an insiders view – an education – of what happens inside an architectural office and within the profession, the challenges we face on projects and process, examples of how challenges were solved, and what really goes on behind the scenes.

So whether you are CEO, Facility Manager, Architectural Intern, Broker, Developer, Property Manager or Landlord, my goal is to tell the story from an insiders point of view and help educate and facilitate a better understanding of the profession IN ORDER TO HELP YOU on your next project when interfacing with the architectural world.
